1. Sponsor
This Giveaway ("Promotion") is sponsored by Lucid Education, Inc. d/b/a Lucid Poker ("Lucid Poker" or "Sponsor"), a Texas, USA, company.
2. Eligibility
The Promotion is open to all individuals aged 18 or older. Employees, officers, contractors, and agents of Lucid Poker (including all Lucid staff) and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
3. Promotion Period
The entry period begins on July 1, 2026, and ends at 11:59 PM PT on July 31, 2026 ("Promotion Period"). All entries must be received during this time to be eligible.
4. How to Enter
a. In-App Entry (Default Method)
- Play at least one (1) "Leaderboard Drill" inside the Lucid Poker Trainer during the Promotion Period.
- Playing a leaderboard drill requires signing up for Lucid Poker using a Google or Apple account.
- Each eligible participant automatically receives 1 entry upon playing at least one hand on any leaderboard.
- Participants may play multiple leaderboards to gain more entries. For example, playing at least one hand on five different leaderboards automatically grants 5 entries.
Bonus Entries: Participants who finish in the Top 10 of any leaderboard earn additional entries according to the following structure:
- 1st place – 250 entries
- 2nd place – 150 entries
- 3rd place – 100 entries
- 4th place – 75 entries
- 5th place – 50 entries
- 6th place – 30 entries
- 7th place – 25 entries
- 8th place – 20 entries
- 9th place – 15 entries
- 10th place – 10 entries
Participants may not create or use multiple Lucid accounts to gain extra entries; doing so will result in disqualification.
b. Free Alternative Method of Entry (No Purchase Necessary)
To enter without playing a leaderboard drill, send an email to support@lucidpoker.com during the Promotion Period with the subject line "Lucid Poker Giveaway Entry." Include your full name in the body of the email. Each valid email entry will receive the same number of base entries (1) as a leaderboard drill participant.
5. Prizes
The following prizes are available for this month's Promotion:
- 1st Prize (Grand Prize): One (1) buy-in to the Mega Monster $1,500,000 GTD event at The Lodge Card Club (value: $400), plus $1,000 in cash toward travel, accommodation, and required club membership expenses.
- 2nd Prize: One (1) $100 Visa Gift Card.
- 3rd Prize: One (1) $100 Visa Gift Card.
No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted, except that Lucid Poker reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt.
Mega Monster Event Structure & Choice of Location
The Grand Prize winner is granted flexibility regarding where they play their opening stage of the tournament:
- Day 1 Flights (Option A): Run daily at The Lodge San Antonio from July 23 to August 13, 2026.
- Day 1 Flights (Option B): Run daily at The Lodge Round Rock from July 31 to August 15, 2026.
- Day 2 and Day 3 Main Event: Regardless of where the winner completes their Day 1 flight, Day 2 (August 16, 2026) and Day 3 (August 17, 2026) will take place exclusively at The Lodge Round Rock location. The winner must successfully bag chips in a Day 1 flight to advance to Day 2.
Travel, Accommodation, and Membership Cash Component
The $1,000 cash component is provided as a contribution toward the Grand Prize winner's travel, accommodation, and required club membership costs at the respective venue locations. It is not a guaranteed reimbursement of actual expenses. All travel, accommodation, and membership arrangements are the sole responsibility of the winner. Lucid Poker bears no responsibility for flights, hotels, ground transportation, club registration fees, travel insurance, or any other logistics related to attendance at the event across either city.
6. Venue & Travel Requirements
To claim the prize packages and participate in live play at the venue, the Grand Prize winner must satisfy all independent travel and facility regulations. Failure to comply with these terms will result in immediate forfeiture of the Grand Prize.
- Age Requirement: The Grand Prize winner must be at least 18 years of age to apply for club membership and play in the tournament event at either venue location. (Note: Consistent with Texas state law, the winner must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages on-site).
- Mandatory Venue Membership: The Lodge Card Club operates as a private, members-only establishment. The winner must successfully apply for, register, and maintain an active club membership on-site at their chosen venue to enter the premises and participate in play.
- Identification: The winner must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver's license, passport, or state photo identification card) at the venue registration desk to confirm their identity and membership status.
- International Travel: The Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport and any required entry documentation needed to enter the United States (including but not limited to a valid visa or approved ESTA waiver, where applicable). Lucid Poker makes no representations regarding a winner's entry eligibility and accepts no liability for visa denials, customs delays, or international travel disruptions.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
Three (3) winners will be drawn at random simultaneously from all eligible entries within 10 days of the close of the Promotion Period (on or before August 10, 2026). Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Grand Prize (1st Prize) — Cascading Acceptance Process
- All three (3) winners are drawn at the same time and designated as the provisional 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prize recipients.
- The provisional 1st Prize winner is notified and given 48 hours to accept or decline the Grand Prize package (Mega Monster buy-in + $1,000 cash).
- If they accept, all three placements are confirmed and the other drawn winners receive their designated prizes.
- If they decline or do not respond within 48 hours, they receive the 2nd Prize ($100 Visa Gift Card) as a consolation, and the provisional 2nd Prize winner is promoted to Grand Prize contender, subject to the same 48-hour window.
- If the promoted 2nd Prize winner declines or does not respond, they receive the 2nd Prize ($100 Visa Gift Card) as a consolation, and the provisional 3rd Prize winner is promoted to Grand Prize contender, subject to the same 48-hour window.
- If the promoted 3rd Prize winner declines or does not respond, they receive the 2nd Prize ($100 Visa Gift Card) as a consolation, and a new name is drawn from the remaining eligible entries and notified as the next Grand Prize contender, subject to the same 48-hour window.
- Any subsequently drawn winner who declines or does not respond receives no prize and a new name is drawn. This process continues until the Grand Prize is accepted or Lucid Poker determines, at its sole discretion, that the prize has been exhausted.
- For the avoidance of doubt, a maximum of three (3) $100 Visa Gift Cards will be awarded in total across this Promotion, regardless of the number of entries received or the outcome of the cascade process.
2nd and 3rd Prize Winners
Where the cascade process results in all originally drawn winners receiving a consolation prize, the 2nd and 3rd Prizes shall be considered awarded via the consolation structure above. In all other cases, the remaining drawn winners receive their originally designated prizes and must respond within 7 days of notification or forfeit.
All winners will be notified using the email address associated with their Lucid Poker account, or the email address used for the alternative method of entry.
8. Tax Reporting
U.S. winners receiving prizes valued at $600 or more will be required to complete an IRS Form W-9. Such winners will receive a Form 1099-MISC from Lucid Poker for the total retail value of the prize. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
9. Publicity Release
By accepting the Grand Prize, the winner grants Lucid Poker the right to use their name, likeness, image, and statements for promotional purposes without further compensation. This clause applies only to the winner of the Grand Prize package involving participation in a live poker event.
10. Privacy
Lucid Poker will collect and use participant information (Lucid username, email address, and name) solely for the purpose of administering this Promotion and contacting winners. Information will be handled in accordance with Lucid Poker's Privacy Policy at lucidpoker.com/legal/privacy-policy.
11. General Conditions
- Lucid Poker reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if any fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair its integrity or proper functioning.
- Participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Lucid Poker, which are final and binding.
- Lucid Poker is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or corrupted entries, or for any technical malfunction or human error.
- By participating, entrants release Lucid Poker, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability related to participation in this Promotion or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
12. Governing Law
This Promotion and these Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
